GIS/Site Selection

urbanMetrics maintains an in-house GIS lab which is used to support our market research practice, including work that we undertake for institution real estate investors as part of an acquisition/due diligence process, or on behalf of a commercial interests looking to identify and/or evaluate prospective sites for business.  urbanMetrics has undertaken site selection work for a variety of projects including: retailers, banks, gas stations, car dealerships, recreational facilities, government buildings and corporate offices.

urbanMetrics  provides professional peer review services for a wide variety of commercial market feasibility studies.  As a peer reviewer urbanMetrics provides expert opinion and conducts sensitivity analysis to ensure that the conclusions reached by a project proponent - particularly those which may affect the public interest - are valid and supportable within acceptable standards.  urbanMetrics has provided peer review services for retail, industrial, residential, office and parking related projects.  Our Peer Review clients are traditionally municipal governments, but we have also been retained by developers, investors and lawyers to independently review the analytical approach and conclusions provided by other real estate/market consultants.
